Carlsbad Caverns National Park

We spent the night in Carlsbad at the Super 8, which was so not super. This was, by far, the most we paid for a one night stay on our entire trip and it was also, by far, the worst motel we stayed at. Now we stayed at other Super 8 motels along the way, and they were great, but this one was horrible. Our advice is don't stay here. After checking out of the not so super Super 8, we headed down to Carlsbad Caverns. Now we knew in advance that this park was all about walking, and then more walking. So we arrived at the main entrance, took some pictures of the area and left. Yep, we did not go in. From there we headed on into Texas to see the Guadalupe Mountains National Park.
