RV Meal Plan - Part 1

Eating is one of the biggest expenses we have, so we obviously try to save as much as we can in this area. Of course, we don't want to eat only peanut butter and crackers so we sat down and prepared this 2 week meal plan. We vary the main courses so we do not eat the same things day in and day out, although breakfast and lunch usually remain about the same.

We generally shop for groceries at Walmart and buy the Great Value brand on many items. Some things we buy the name brand as the taste difference can be significant. We use coupons if we have them, we try to cook just enough for one meal so leftovers are kept to a bare minimum and we splurge here and there as long as we do not exceed our grocery budget.

Our tastes likely differ from yours and this is only to show how we like to eat. The goal is not to tell you what to eat, just to give some ideas. We obviously aren't health fanatics who try to eat only certain things, but to the dismay of many, we are both slender and quite healthy. The way we see it, the most health conscious person alive is still going to die one day, they'll just die without having enjoyed bacon!

Feel free to change it as you see fit and your budget permits. Many of the things on the list last longer than 2 weeks so your monthly cost will not necessarily be double the 2 week cost, it will probably be less.

I liked the suggestions and noticed the jelly and Mayonnaise
Ketchup condiments. The tuna we get in the lightweight pouches, easier to find room in the cupboards, and we get all of our condiments in the little travel size packets from this place, they have a bunch of great camping/RVing food ideas too. rvcampstuff.com

Wow each time I look at your diet I wonder how you can be so thin but even more so I wonder how it is your arteries aren't just plugged up. LOL! Sorry having heart problems has made me very aware of health and my heart problems are not from clogged arteries. But my BIL just had a heart attack and his diet is pretty much like yours. Had he not been in a hospital working (vendor of medical machines) he would have died. Anyway never mind me it is just my two cents. LOL!!!
