Enjoy the Life of Full Time RVing
If you keep putting something off long enough, you will eventually reach a point where you will be unable to do it at all. We didn't want this to happen to us, so we abandoned the rat race and decided to live full time in our little motorhome. We'll criss-cross America until we have explored lots of national parks, landmarks, natural wonders, small towns, back roads and campgrounds, and talked to as many people as we can before we get too old to continue.
You're invited to follow along with us as we lightheartedly document our journey. Our blog takes you through the preparation to go full time, through several RV changes and on up to the day when the good Lord decides we're not going to travel anymore (which hasn't happened yet!). So sit back and relax, grab an ice cold Coca-Cola and follow along as we take you on an epic adventure through America.
No high dollar class A motorhome or fat bank accounts here... We're just simple folks full-timing in a 2004 Gulfstream 24' Class C motorhome pulling a 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4x4. Our home may be small but we have one heck of a front yard! We have a little bit in a savings account for emergencies and we live on just $1472.00 per month. Everything we own, we carry with us... and we are happy. After all, happiness is wanting what you have... not having what you want!
All across America, in no particular order and without a schedule, our goal was to explore the lower 48 states. We started in Jemison, Alabama on May 31, 2010 and worked our way out from there. We traveled for two years but due to health reasons, we settled back down in Alabama on April 20, 2012. We had a blast and wish we could have continued.
