Shoulda! Coulda! Woulda!
We hear that all too often from folks who didn't get around to doing what they wanted to before they got too old to do it. We didn't want that to be us so we abandoned the rat race and live full time in our 19 foot travel trailer. We'll crisscross America until we have explored national parks, landmarks, natural wonders, small towns, back roads, rest areas and campgrounds, and talked to as many people as we can before we get too old to continue.
You're invited to follow along with us as we lightheartedly document our journey. Our blog takes you through the preparation to go full time up to the day when the good Lord decides we're not going to travel anymore. So sit back and relax, grab an ice cold Coca-Cola and a slice of homemade apple pie and follow along as we take you on an epic adventure through America.
No high dollar class A motor home or fat bank accounts here... We're just simple folks heading out with a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500HD Crew Cab truck, a 19' 2008 Palomino Gazelle G210 travel trailer and two 2008 Honda Ruckus scooters. Our home may be really small but we have one heck of a front yard! We have a little bit in a savings account for emergencies and we live on just $1422.00 per month. Everything we own fits in the truck or the camper... and we are happy. After all, happiness is wanting what you have... not having what you want!
All across America, in no particular order and without a schedule, we're exploring the lower 48 states. We started in Jemison, Alabama and are working our way out from there. It is anybody's guess where we'll go next... but if you follow our blog, you'll be able to keep up with us as our adventure unfolds.
